Constantinople, 16 December 533. Justinian's Digest becomes law, and its title on procurators opens with Ulpian: "Procurator est qui aliena negotia mandatu domini administrat" - a procurator manages another's affairs under the principal's mandate, for all affairs or for one, appointed in person, by messenger or by letter. Roman law never let a hand act for you on its own say-so. A superintelligent AI agent acting for you should carry no less.
